In the applection process, participants are free to choose their pieces.
It should include two pieces from different music epochs and be
appropriate to the level of performance of the player.
Requirement:
A simultaneous participation in several categories
(e.g. solo - chamber music - contemporary music) is permitted.
In the registration you have to state the competition pieces and their time duration.
For contemporary pieces, the original copy must be presented on the day of the competition.

The Registration and participation fee must be received by the organizer on 15.April 2024. Changes (persons, pieces) are no longer possible after this date. Approval confirmation or rejection (if the requirements are not fulfilled) will be sent by e-mail.
Permit:
Winners (1st prize) of a previous music talent competition can only
participate again in a higher age group. Early registration is recommended for capacity reasons.
If more interested parties register for the competition than can be admitted for organizational reasons, the chronological order of the registrations will decide on admission.
Judges:
The judges are recognized musicians and conductors. The decisions of the jury are not contestable. The jury has the right to interrupt the prelude if the performance time is exceeded. If the number of participants is very high, the judge could request the participants to shorten their competition pieces.
Prize:
Every participant gets a certificate. The cash prizes are ranked 1, 2 and 3 in the age groups. In addition, special prizes will be awarded (for example, participation in master classes, such as the Mattheiser Summer Academy in Bad Sobernheim, International Music Days in Hofheim or the Involvemt.
Announcement of the winners:
The winners will be informed by e-mail. A list will also be published on the homepage.
Arrival, accommodation and meals of the participants / piano attendants are at their own expense. On request we will inform you about accommodation options.
